General Job Description:
The technician must be able to process receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end user requests utilizing a helpdesk tracking system. They also should be able to install, diagnose, repair, maintain and upgrade all hardware and software equipment to ensure optimal performance so that end users can accomplish business tasks. They will also have to troubleshoot problems via telephone, email and in person as required.
Specific Qualifications:
The candidate should have 3-6 years of IT experience or has taken IT classes to substitute for experience. They also must have excellent customer service and communications skills as this job requires heavy customer contact.
Desirables:
The individual must have a working knowledge of Windows XP, Windows Vista and Microsoft Office 2007.
