Responsibilities
Engineer will be member of PSTech's java development team and will be responsible for developing and maintenance of different modules of Cisco Unified Meeting Place , part of the Cisco Unified Communications system, an integrated voice and Web conferencing application. Together with Meeting Place modules development, engineer might expect to be involved in other J2EE projects within a company. Developer will participate in the entire life-cycle of product development.


Responsibilities include


Gathering requirements
Assisting in the design of a technology solution,
Working with the project manager to estimate tasks,
Assisting in the implementation of the solution
Create, execute and document tests to ensure that an application meets requirements and functional specifications
Product maintenance
Custom reporting
Candidates must be able to assume complete responsibility for project tasks.

Skills and Experience Required


Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (ETF, PMF, FON…)
Object Oriented Analysis and Design techniques
Core java experience is necessary
Java web application programming: Web frameworks, Application Servers/ Servlet Containers...
DB design and SQL
Unit Testing (JUnit or other frameworks)
HTML, CSS, java script (experience with asynchronous java script - AJAX is a plus)
Experience with java ORM tools (Hibernate, iBATIS...) is a plus
Experience with SOAP Web Services (Apache Axis, Xfire-CXF), RESTFul Web Services (JAX-RS Jersey) is a plus
PHP is a plus

Software Tools and OSs


Experience with source control systems (SVN, Clear Case, Source Safe ...)
Experience with build tools : Maven, Ant
Linux OS experience
Prepare technical documentation
Eclipse IDE
